Group TheraPy without a Word
Posted by: | CommentsFrom a tweet via RT @Ashley_Leach and @Jos_de_Jong, I viewed this Ted Video. Bobby McFerri gets the whole audience to sing together, without talking. In this fun, 3-min performance from the World Science Festival, musician Bobby McFerrin uses the pentatonic scale to reveal one surprising result of the way our brains are wired.
Can training be this easy? Engagement, compelling and fun happens in the most un-complicated ways.

Marketing Lean Six Sigma Services
Posted by: | CommentsI was asked for an overview of the Marketing your Black Belt Webinar and the easiest way to distribute it is through my blog. Several items to note are that it is a bi-monthly webinar(2x per month), and that it is designed for both the Lean Six Sigma Consultant and Consulting Organizations that use these principles. This is not the actual format of the presentation, but it will give you a better idea of what will be covered. However, as any good marketing person would know, the really, really good stuff, I saved for the webinar!

Operational Excellence, It’s about the People not the Tools
Posted by: | CommentsI had Robert Stapp of OP•EX Direct Results Inc. on the Business901 podcast and in part 2 of this podcast, we had a discussion on operational excellence. He discussed several ways to leverage Lean and Six Sigma in achieving excellence.
The lesson I learned from the podcast was that these were not the only tools he uses. He looks at other tools depending on the customer and their needs. Part of the discussion neared the “Best Practice” area but I thought his insight on the people rather than the tools were particularly helpful.
